Getting ready for Christmas

Our neighbors Matt and Angie, have Santa come to their house every year for the kids. It is kind of neat because Aiden has been able to sit on this same Santa's lap every year since he was born. Aiden has been so excited for Christmas, he couldn't wait to see Santa. As you can see here, he is pretty tickled!

This was Aiden's Christmas program at church. He did great. He sang and did all the movements to the songs. (Aiden is the little boy in the blue shirt leaning forward a little.)

We almost didn't get our Christmas decorations out this year because we just sold our house. Not good timing I know, with the holidays and a baby on the way. Our house wasn't even on the market, but Jim had some clients that were interested in a house like ours. So we decided to show it, thinking in this market it wouldn't sell. But sure enough, we got a full price offer on it, too good to pass up. So we are in the process of looking for a new home. There are so many good deals out there right now, hopefully we find a house that we love quickly. We have a temporary house to move into in the mean time. The thought of moving twice stresses me out a little, but I think it will be worth it in the end. Needless to say we did get out some of our Christmas decorations for Aiden.
The train track is defiantly Aiden's favorite Christmas decoration. We are constantly putting it back on the track, because he is always playing with it.

Ring bearer

Aiden was the ring bearer in my friends Jenny and Ryan's wedding. Aiden looked so handsome in his little tux. He didn't exactly take the ring down the isle by himself, lets just say he and Jim were both the ring bearers. Over all he did a pretty good job though.

This was one of the cars he "earned" for walking down the isle.

Aiden and the other little kids had so much fun dancing at the wedding. This is a picture of Aiden "break dancing." He was watching the older boys spin around on the floor and decided to copy them.

Cheers!

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at our house again this year. We always have so much fun together and we are sad when everyone has to leave. The annual pictionary game- of course the guys won (we are pretty sure they cheat every year).

The weather was so nice this year at Thanksgiving the guys were all outside playing football. The old guys were even able to keep up! They were breathing pretty hard when they came in though!
My mom and sisters!

Aiden's 3rd Birthday

We can't believe our little man just turned 3. He is growing up so fast! Here is a picture of him and poppy Verdell after the party. They were wrapped in the two Lighting McQueen sleeping bags he got for his birthday. Poppy Verdell didn't last long before he actually fell asleep.
Aiden and grandpa Jim eating spaghetti at the party.
Of course, Aiden had to have a "cars" birthday party theme. This is him posing with his cake.

We also had a friend birthday party with Aiden's playgroup. Here they all got to swing at the pinata! It was funny to watch the difference between the little girls and the boys. The girls would barely swing and all the little boys gave it everything they had. It was pretty cute.

We actually got most of the kids to pose for their picture!

7 weeks and counting

Well I have 7 weeks before my due date. Time is flying by with the holidays. She will be here before we know it. I am reminded everyday when I feel her moving what a miracle babies are, they are truly a blessing from God.

Aiden's "Big Boy Bed"

We decided to get Aiden a new bed set, so the baby could have his crib. He was a little apprehensive at first, but as you can see he decided he liked it!
